Just a picture from our place OutWest

Here is our "backyard" as shot from our deck. This was taken in early June of '06. For definition, the trees in about the middle of the picture are about 60' tall. The background mtns with the snow are about 3 miles away. All of that property is National Forest. It is really rare to be back in there and see anyone else, it is complete wilderness.
We have been here for 20 years and are really at the "end of the line" for just about anything. End of the power lines, end of "winter maintained" roads...up until 10 years ago we still had 4 person party lines for phone service. Our nearest neighbor is about a mile away. There are bear, deer, elk...name it and it's here. I can't imagine living anywhere else.

See, that's what happens when I try to post a comment BEFORE my morning coffee. I meant to say "I am so...", not "I so linking..." Oops. Sorry.
